Whatever the interest, the “Green Friendly” team, spear-headed by second generation forester, Anthony Joseph, provides consultations to better understand landowners’ specific needs so they may get the most from the use of their land. Why the “Green Friendly” Method Vs Standard Methods of Land Clearing?

Stated Simply: Topsoil Destruction, Erosion, Burning, Haul Off & Unnecessary Chemicals hazards... all costing the landowner more money and frustration after traditional methods of excavation are complete.

Due to his life-long experience in the Forestry, Logging & Lumber Industry, Mr. Joseph had an awareness of the environmental impact on our forests. He had a growing concern with the traditional harsh methods of land clearing,

where fresh topsoil was buried under brush-piles, leaving behind additional efforts and maintenance costs for the landowner. When trying to preserve Hardwoods, which is a main focus of the Green Friendly team, some methods of burning and certain chemicals used can hinder the growth of Hardwoods. When Mr. Joseph officially developed his “Green Friendly” technique in 1990, he created a system of Hydro-Clearing that uses a “ONE-STEP” process of forestry mulching, enhancing the top soil, deterring sediment displacement and leaving behind a smooth, natural blanket of ground cover to prevent erosion and is immediately ready for seeding and usage by the landowner.
