Specialty Pallets

One area we particularly excel in is our ability to design and manufacture a wide variety of specialty and large pallets for exceptionally heavy cargo. In the recent years, based on feedback from our customers, we have invested in the growth of this “niche” area. We have a variety of machines that focus solely on the manufacturing of these heavier pallets, many of which are also heat-treated to meet the needs of those whose cargo will be exported.

Customization for each Customer

As with the standard pallets, there are so many ways to design a large/heavy pallet. Each of our customers has specific requirements for how robust their pallets must be, depending on the weight of cargo each will carry. We take Safety and OSHA standards very seriously in our environment. Equally important to our customers is that our pallets are strong enough to provide safe handling, whether in the plant or in transit. Some of the factors we explore to meet your cargo, as well as your OSHA safety criteria include: stringer/runner thickness; deckboard spacing and thickness; species/grade required; how much weight is required per pallet, per stack; will your pallet be used for one-time (limited) or multiple usage; etc.
